The installation of the 100MW power plant project in Zimbabwe, a joint venture between China and Zimbabwe, has been completed and successfully connected to the grid
On July 28, 2025, the Zimbabwe Zhongjin Heli 100 MW power plant project, undertaken by SLY Industrial Group, achieved significant results. The power plant was successfully installed and connected to the grid through commissioning.

On the scorching sun of Africa, the team responsible for the Zimbabwe Zhongjin Heli project undertaken by SLY Industrial Group demonstrated the spirit of an iron army in power construction. They completed the installation and commissioning of this 100 megawatt power station in just one year, and achieved grid connected power supply. As of October 15, 2025, the Zimbabwe Zhongjin Heli 100 MW power plant project has been connected to the grid for 1910 hours of safe production. The company always adheres to strict safety standards, tightly controls project progress, and pays close attention to project quality. It fully utilizes its professional advantages in power plant installation and strives to establish a model for power plant installation on this land.

The Zhongjin Heli 100 MW power plant construction project is located in Wanji City, Zimbabwe. The project includes a 100 MW high-temperature and high-pressure generator set and its related auxiliary facilities. The overall supporting facilities plan is based on the "three boilers and one machine" mode: specifically, it is equipped with one high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized bed boiler with a capacity of 300 tons/hour, two high-temperature and high-pressure waste heat boilers each with a capacity of 90 tons/hour, and one set of 100 MW high-temperature and high-pressure steam turbine generator units. The power station is expected to deliver approximately 550 million kilowatt hours of electricity to the grid annually, which will undoubtedly greatly help alleviate the local power supply pressure in Zimbabwe.
